Last weekend was the Volunteer State Dance Challenge right here in Nashville at the Downtown Hilton.
We had lots of students dancing this weekend… congratulations to Dale and Nancy Jo Polley, Steven and Linda Mason, Mark and Emily Eberle, Andy Needham, Christina Donelson, Yukiko, Bonni Slifer, Agnes Gorska, Starr and Laura Chapman, and everyone else from Nashville who competed.
Anna and Jeremy didn't dance professionally here but were both pleased to be in the top 6 teachers for the weekend.
Good luck to everyone heading to Kansas City next week. Go team!!
Congratulations to Mark Eberle who dance in Minneapolis last week at the Twin Cities Open. He received many 1st place awards!
Jeremy and Anna won the professional rhythm out of a quarterfinal and danced in the Michael Jackson tribute show to Beat It. Smooth champs Mazen Hamza and Izabella did a great routine to Thriller! What a fun night!

4th of July weekend was the Manhattan Dancesport in NYC. We were there for a week dancing every day! Congratulations to Dale and Nancy Jo Polley who attended the competition and were both in the top 20 students of the weekend!
Jeremy and Anna danced for a packed ballroom Saturday night and came in 5th starting from a QuarterFinal round.
This weekend we'll be heading to Minneapolis for the Twin Cities Open. Good luck to all attending!! 🙂
Father's Day weekend we attended a great competition in Colorado! The Colorado Star Ball took place in Westminster and had over 6500 entries!
Congratulations to Steven Mason, Linda Mason, Mark Eberle, and Emily Eberle who all made their Scholarship Finals!! Way to go!!
Jeremy and Anna were excited to win 1st place in the Professional Division as well. It was a packed house on Saturday night and a great crowd to dance for.

There's no better time to dance than Summer! It's hot outside, so join us indoors for parties, lessons, and a variety of group classes.
We'll teach a Date Night class every Monday at 7:30 in Cool Springs. Also look for another Open Dance in Cool Springs on Friday, June 24th.
On the competition scene, we'll be heading to Denver this Father's Day weekend and then Manhattan over the 4th of July. We'll let everyone know how it goes. Until then, have fun dancing!
April was a month full of dancing and competitions! We started in Milwaukee at a large event downtown. Congratulations to Mark Eberle and Christina Donelson for their great dancing over the weekend. Our professionals did very well too… 3 of our couples made the Open Finals on Saturday night. Way to go!!
Easter weekend we headed to New Orleans, and we just got back yesterday from Los Angeles, where one of the biggest competitions of the year takes place called the Emerald Ball. Congratulations to Mark Eberle and Steven Mason who competed with Anna and took home many first place awards. Anna and Jeremy were excited to make the Open Finals for the 3rd weekend in a row.
This weekend we head to the Atlanta Open, and for those of you who live in Nashville check out our showcase on May 21st!
March was a fantastic month for dancing! We traveled all over the country going from Las Vegas to St. Louis to Detroit. Congrats to everyone who competed!!
Coming up on April 9th we will have a fun ballroom benefit called Swing into Spring. It's a benefit for the Brown Center for Autism and will host some great ballroom dancing and live music. Please contact us for more info and tickets.
We will also be competing in Wisconsin, New Orleans, and L.A!
February has been a great month for dancing! We started at the beginning of the month in D.C. at the Maryland Dancesport Championships and traveled 2 weeks later to L.A. for the California Open.
Congratulations to Steven Mason who won his Smooth Scholarship in Maryland and to Mark Eberle who made it to the finals of his smooth scholarship out of a quarterfinal in California!!
Jeremy and Anna were 4th at both comps, making it from a quarterfinal in California. They also did a show in Fayetteville, TN between the 2 comps for a benefit for the new library there.
Good luck to everyone in March when we go to Las Vegas and St. Louis!!
2010 was a wonderful year for us thanks to our many great students and the support of our family, friends, and coaches!

Our most recent competition was Holiday Classic in Las Vegas where we placed 5th in the Open Professional Rhythm event. Next up in the New Year will be Savannah Dance Classic Jan 6-8 followed by Nashville Starz in our hometown Jan. 20th-22nd.
